I Promise My Next Post Will Be Full Of Pictures

But.....

I've been thinking a lot lately. A lot a lot. Here's why:

Once upon a time, Kandace was in high school. She really wanted to go to SUU, so she did. And she loved it. Then Kandace fell in love and planned to get married to a certain boy. By marrying this boy, she would have to leave SUU, but she decided it'd be worthy trade-off. While Kandace was planning to marry this boy, she decided that when she grows up she wanted to be a speech therapist. Being a speech therapist would also be another reason to leave SUU. A while later, that boy felt like it wasn't right to marry Kandace anymore, and she was sad for awhile, but went on with her life.

She still wanted to be a speech therapist, so she made plans to transfer to BYU. Applying to BYU was a lengthy process, filled with short essays and interviews. The application had to be finished by February 1st. Kandace did everything in her power to get it all done in time, but BYU never got her transcripts from her concurrent enrollment classes from high school, which meant her application was incomplete, which meant BYU never looked at her application. Once Kandace figured this whole situation out it was kind of too late. Yet, she explained everything to BYU and they said they'd make a special case and look over her application, but they made sure to let her know that it would be very unlikely for her to get in. Well, last Thursday, Kandace found out that she didn't get in for fall semester because that one transcript was so late.

Kandace is realizing, that there must be some reason for her to be at SUU next fall. Every time she tries to get away, no matter how wise her efforts in leaving may seem, it just falls apart for reasons out of her control. She feels like she's trying her hardest to make good choices and do good things, but her plans don't seem to go her way.

But.... (thank you institute)

Someday, everything will be just right and this will all make sense!

Pinky promise!

GO THUNDERBIRDS!
(at least for one more semester)
